About this experience

This experience allows you to discover a different Lima, where more than a thousand years of history coexist with the modern life of the city. In a single tour we will visit ancient adobe huacas, learn about the legacy of pre-Hispanic cultures, and walk among the historic olive trees of one of Lima's most traditional parks.

The special thing about the tour is precisely this contrast: from the pre-Hispanic pyramids of Huaca Pucllana and Huaca Huallamarca to the tranquility and beauty of Parque El Olivar, all within the modern district of San Isidro.

Itinerary and highlights

Discover Huaca Pucllana, one of the most emblematic archaeological sites in Lima. This ancient ceremonial center was built in adobe by the Lima culture and stands out for its impressive stepped pyramid, which is preserved in the middle of the modern district of Miraflores. During the visit, we will learn about its history, architecture, and the importance it had as a ceremonial and administrative space for the ancient societies that inhabited the Peruvian coast.

Tour the historic Parque El Olivar, one of Lima's most traditional green spaces. Its ancient olive trees, some with centuries of history, form a unique landscape in the heart of San Isidro. During the tour, we will learn about the origin of this olive grove and its historical importance, while enjoying its paths, green areas, and the tranquility of one of the most charming places in the city.
